Kaylekd's blog for PR Writing

Twitter

Posted on: February 19, 2010

By now if you haven’t heard of twitter, you’ve probably been living under a rock. I have always heard people talk about it, and I even created an account once, but never looked at it besides the first day. But this week I can say I’ve honestly had fun with it.

Even from just a week, I can see how beneficial it is in the PR world. From the links, to the advertising it is definitely a great way to communicate. Besides using to twitter for work related/professional reasons, I will also admit that I’ve been sucked into reading what celebrities are writing. I know it’s cliché, but it’s really kind of intriguing to me what they’re doing. Don’t judge me.

After this class I plan to continue tweeting. It’s great for networking, and when I graduate and need a job or need advice, Twitter will be the first place I go.
